Medical and Health Lead
Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ) is seeking an experienced medical professional to lead the health and medical team in the countdown to and during the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
An ability to build trusting and confidential relationships with athletes and coaches as well as a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be a key success factor. Having previous Para sports medical knowledge will be desirable.
What the Medical and Health Lead should bring to the role:
- High performance sports medicine expertise in both clinic and international competition
- An ability to lead and implement a high functioning health and medical team that meets the needs of Para athletes
The role is a fixed term contract until April 2026. Time commitment varies in the countdown to Milano Cortina 2026 and is outlined in the Position Description as well as the full details of the role.
Domestic and international travel may be a requirement of the role in the countdown to Milano Cortina 2026.
