LAURE GRUFFAT, EVENTS AND DIGITAL COORDINATOR

Emigrating to New Zealand mid 2018, Laure is an experienced project manager who has specialised in event and marketing strategy within the sport industry. She has worked with both corporate and government stakeholders on multi-million-dollar projects such as the successful Olympic and Paralympic bid for Paris 2024. In addition, Laure has facilitated operations and event management for multi-nation sporting events such as the Women’s Rugby World Cup, and the Women’s European Handball Championship.
As Events and Digital Coordinator, Laure is responsible for the delivering the ‘Celebration Project’ and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games key milestone events through until December 2020, with the support of the PNZ Brand and Communications Manager. This includes 12 community events around the country to recognise New Zealand’s 209 Paralympians and to introduce local Tokyo 2020 hopefuls, the annual Prime Ministers’ Dinner and 5+ related Tokyo 2020 milestone events plus the Paralympic Farewell and Welcome Home events. Laure role includes delivering the digital and social media strategy.
