New Zealand supporters could not have asked for more this morning as both tandem pairings qualified for medal ride off spots early this morning BRT. Emma Foy and Laura Thompson (sighted pilot) today showed true guts and determination to win silver on the final day of racing at the Rio Velodrome in the Women’s B 3000m Individual Pursuit (3:31.569). The British tandem of Turnham and Hall won in a time of 3:28.050. Earlier in the day Foy and Thompson had qualified second fastest with a time of 3:28.563.
