Natalie Brunzel is a disability sector leader and has been a Shooting Para sport athlete for over 5 years.

In 2016 she decided to take up sport and fell in love with the challenge that shooting provided her. Representing New Zealand on the international stage has been a highlight for Natalie, who represented New Zealand at the 2019 World Cup in UAE, and the 2019 World Championships in Sydney. At the 2019 World Championships she won a medal in the Air Rifle Teams event.

A genuine natural in the sport, Natalie continues to work hard and take every opportunity to compete locally and internationally. A member of the Parafed Auckland Shooting Club (PASC), Natalie’s major goal is to represent New Zealand at the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Natalie competes with the rifle in the SH2 sports class.

Completing her Masters in Communication she has worked with several organisations to ensure they are able to communicate vital information. Born in South Africa to a Kiwi mum, Natalie has lived in New Zealand since she was 14 years old. She has a passion for helping people.
