Tracey competed at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games in Para powerlifting. This was the first Paralympics where women’s Para powerlifting events were included.
Prior to this Tracy made her international debut at the 1998 World Para Powerlifting Championships in Dubai winning a bronze medal. Prior to taking up Para powerlifting Tracey competed in wheelchair racing, javelin and shot put.
