Role

The Games Campaign and Sports Co-ordinator supports the Games Campaign and Sports Manager plus the wider sport team. The main focus of the role is on all activities relating to operations and logistics delivery of the New Zealand Paralympic Team. Sacha also works with the athletes and coaches who attend the Virtus Games on their operational needs.

Experience

Sacha comes to PNZ after eight years at High Performance Sport NZ where she worked in an HR generalist role. As well as in a volunteer capacity in the role of the Wheel Blacks’ Programme/Team Manager for five years before stepping onto the NZ Wheelchair Rugby Committee for some governance experience. Having attended the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with the Wheel Blacks, Sacha has first-hand experience of what is required at a Paralympic Games.

Previous to working in sport Sacha, has experience in the professional services, banking and hospitality sectors in New Zealand, UK and Japan.
