Denis Butler #41

Denis made his Paralympic debut at the Innsbruck 1984 Paralympic Winter Games alongside seven other Kiwi Para alpine skiers. Denis competed in the Men’s Downhill LW2, Men’s Giant Slalom LW2 and Men’s Slalom LW2 at Innsbruck 1984 claiming a best finish of 16th in the former event. Denis is a single above the knee amputee. He now lives in Winter Park, Colorado, with his wife Diann Butler (nee Greis). Denis still has family in Southland and visits from time to time.
