Pin and Win Series 8 winner announced

Pin and Win Series 8 winner announced

Today (6 March) the cash winner of the Pin and Win fundraising initiative (series 8) was drawn. Congratulations to Bruce Cornelius of Auckland who supported Paralympics New Zealand by purchasing merchandise last year. Bruce was shocked when he received the news and said it was a great way to start the week!

Paralympics New Zealand relies on a mix of donations and fundraising events, government funding and support from the business community to run our many sport and community programmes. This support contributes to the journey of New Zealand Paralympian’s journey to the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and supports the growth of Para sport in local communities.

Without the continuous assistance of generous supporters, Paralympics New Zealand would not be able to fulfill its mandate to prepare, select and lead New Zealand teams to international competitions including the Paralympic Games and invest into the growth of Para sport across New Zealand. Para athletes provide inspiration to the 1.1 million New Zealanders living with a disability and help create greater awareness, understanding and acceptance of disability amongst the wider public.
