Kevin Aleksich was introduced to his sport after losing his leg to cancer in 1987. In 1994 he represented New Zealand in the Paralympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway. Kevin was a member of a team of 7 Kiwi Para alpine skiers, who collectively won 6 medals in Lillehammer. Kevin currently is the director of a local Project Management Company.
Kevin officially received his ‘numbered’ Paralympic pin as part of The Celebration Project in Tauranga in July 2019.
