Kevin Aleksich #84

Kevin Aleksich, New Zealand Paralympian on skis on top of mountain

Kevin Aleksich was introduced to his sport after losing his leg to cancer in 1987. In 1994 he represented the NZ Paralympic Team at the Lillehammer 1994 Paralympic Winter Games. Kevin was a member of a team of seven Kiwi Para alpine skiers, who collectively won six medals in Lillehammer. Kevin is currently the director of a Project Management Company. 

Kevin officially received his ‘numbered’ Paralympic pin as part of The Celebration Project in Tauranga in July 2019.
