Áine made her Paralympic debut at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. She was one of 8 Para swimmers that collectively won 12 medals, an outstanding achievement. Outside of the pool Áine is a highly respected musician, writer and advocate.
Áine officially received her ‘numbered’ Paralympic pin as part of The Celebration Project in Auckland in May 2019.
