Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ) is delighted to announce the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Harvey Norman, encompassing both the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games and the LA28 Paralympic Games

Harvey Norman — a household name in furniture, bedding, computer, and electrical goods in New Zealand for over 28 years — has been a valued PNZ partner since 2016. Under the renewed agreement, Harvey Norman will continue as an Official Partner of both Paralympics New Zealand and the New Zealand Paralympic Team (NZPT).

Harvey Norman has made a significant contribution to the NZPT over the years through its corporate fundraising programme, generating essential funds to support New Zealand Paralympians competing at the Paralympic Games.

PNZ CEO Greg Warnecke said: “We could not be happier that Harvey Norman has agreed to renew their partnership with Paralympics New Zealand. For many years, they have proven to be a valued and committed partner to PNZ, contributing to a range of impactful initiatives that have helped elevate our Paralympians, Para athletes, and the wider Paralympic Movement in Aotearoa New Zealand.

“We look forward to working together to further leverage this partnership, which will continue to inspire New Zealanders, support our Para athletes, and drive awareness and inclusion across the country.”

Paul Keenihan, Harvey Norman New Zealand Partnership Lead, said the partnership is more than a typical corporate sponsorship.

“Harvey Norman’s people are a supporter squad of 1,900 Kiwis across 47 stores nationwide, who’ve backed New Zealand Paralympians through Paralympic Games in Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 and Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022,” he said.

“We didn’t have to think twice about getting on board for the journey to Milano Cortina 2026 and LA28.”
 The partnership includes:

  • Harvey Norman Para Sport Champions programme — a successful initiative aimed at empowering Paralympians and Para athletes to share their personal journeys, raise awareness of Para sport, and help shift perceptions of disability across Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Provision of products and equipment to support the NZPT in the Paralympic Village at the Paralympic Games, ensuring the Team has the resources it needs to perform at its best on the global stage.
  • Internal annual Harvey Norman department fundraising.

“Harvey Norman will also be unveiling a number of new and exciting ways that Aotearoa can get even more involved in backing our Paralympians so watch this space,” he says.

The renewal reflects Harvey Norman’s deep and ongoing commitment to high performance sport, aligning strongly with PNZ’s core values of leadership, excellence, and advocacy.
