My journey as a Para athlete
Born with a rare genetic condition, I grew up facing health struggles and epilepsy but found confidence and freedom in the water. I went on to become a national record holder and represent New Zealand internationally. After being diagnosed with bone cancer and losing my right arm in life-saving surgery, I showed remarkable resilience by returning to the pool just months later. At just 17 years old, I continue to inspire others with my determination, self-belief, and message that setbacks never define what you’re capable of achieving.

My favourite food is potatoes.. The only question is: chips, roasties, mash, or all three?

When I’m not swimming, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my dog. 🐾
