2022 World Para Swimming Championships start this weekend – here’s how to watch

The New Zealand Para swimming team at the World Para Swimming Championships

Five excited Kiwi Para swimmers are in Madeira, Portugal for the 2022 World Para Swimming Championships.

The team is led by Paralympic gold medalists Cameron Leslie and Nikita Howarth, who have over two decades of international experience between them. Gaby Smith, Joshua Willmer and Lili-Fox Mason are debutantes competing at their first World Para Swimming Championships.

How to watch the World Para Swimming Championships

The events will be broadcast live and free via the Paralympic Games YouTube channel. You can watch live or watch the recordings later.

When to watch – schedule and results

With the time difference, events will be mostly during the night in New Zealand. Competition starts from this Sunday night (12 June) and runs through to Saturday night (18 June).
