Paul Leefe, New Zealand Paralympian

Paul was part of the first ever Wheelchair rugby team – the Wheel Blacks – and competed over two Paralympic Games: coming third when it was a demonstration event in Atlanta 1996 and winning a bronze medal in Sydney 2000. Paul played with speed and finesse and was responsible of the growth of Wheelchair rugby in New Zealand.

Paul officially received his ‘numbered’ pin as part of The Celebration Project in Hamilton in June 2019.
