2 By IPC convention, the medal standings are ordered by the number of gold medals which the Para athletes from a nation have won. The number of silver medals is taken into consideration next and then the number of bronze medals. If NPCs are still tied, equal ranking is given and they are listed alphabetically by IPC country code. The same convention is used by the IOC.
