Reweti Cameron #88

Reweti receives his paralympic pin with Minister of Disability Issues and PNZ Chief executive

Para swimmer Reweti Cameron competed at the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games along with 6 other New Zealand Para swimmers. The Para swimming team collectively won 12 medals. In 2020, Reweti still holds several NZ records in the 100m and 400m Freestyle S10, 200m breaststroke SB9 and 50m butterfly S10. He has held them since 1997! 

Reweti officially received his ‘numbered’ Paralympic pin as part of The Celebration Project in Auckland in February 2020.
