  • Role

    The Para Sport Collective Manager role is directly connected to one of PNZ’s key strategic outcomes of a strong and sustainable pathway to the Paralympic Games. As such, the Para Sport Collective Manager works with PNZ and PNZ member organisations to develop and improve the effectiveness of performance pathways in Para sport, with the aim of successfully identifying, developing, supporting and progressing Para athletes to achieve medal winning performances.  

    Experience

    Following careers in law and professional cycling, Dale began her career in sport in 2011, working for Cycling Southland in the development space. By 2014, her interest in Para cycling had progressed to a role with Paralympics New Zealand as the Para Cycling Development Coordinator. Over that time, her interest and passion for Para Sport strengthened and expanded, and by 2022 she had moved into the Para Sport Pathway role, working across all sports. Dale is an ardent Para sport supporter and advocate.

    Education

    Dale graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of Otago.

    Interests

    Dale enjoys all sport and outdoor activities, keeping fit by running and riding bikes with her family, coaching kids sport and being involved / volunteering in her local community.
