Brad Vear #68

Plain Fern

Brad represented New Zealand at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games. He competed in Para athletics in the 100m, 200m, 400m and long jump.

Also passionate about rugby, Brad owns numerous touch national titles in various grades. In 1991 and 1999, he represented New Zealand in the touch rugby World Cup. In 2018, Brad was the captain of the Physical Disability Rugby League New Zealand team, selected for a three-test series against Australia and Commonwealth All Stars at the Commonwealth Championships. It was the first time physical disability Rugby League has been included at the Championship.
