Role
Jenni will lead the pilot of the ‘Seeing is Believing’ project aiming to change perceptions of disability through the lens of Paralympians, Para athletes and the Paralympic Movement. The project combines Para sport learning and lived experiences to inspire both participation and inclusion in school and kura environments. The I’mPOSSIBLE Programme and Para Sport Champions Programmes will connect with both disabled and non-disabled tamariki, their teachers and kaiako, schools and kura by opening minds and challenging perceptions, behaviours and choices.
Through strong leadership the development, implementation and evaluation of the ‘Seeing is Believing’ project, Jenni will ensure the delivery of key outcomes within the PNZ Strategic Plan 2021 – 2032.
Experience
Jenni brings over 20 years’ experience working within Education in New Zealand. She has been a classroom teacher, Associate Principal, Across School Leader for Te Ara Whetū Kāhui Ako and a mentor for many beginning teachers as part of Auckland University’s PCT programme.
She brings a true passion for education, a growth mind-set, and a wealth of professional knowledge that she continues to grow.
A trained educational coach, Jenni’s strengths include her ability to build strong networks and work collaboratively to successfully implement initiatives.

Education
Jenni graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Education in 2002.
Interests
Jenni is passionate about sport and the outdoors and spends plenty of time in nature whether it is on the water, at the beach or strolling through a bush. She is also a member of a choir and has recently taken part in her first show.
