Transport Mall
The Transport Mall will offer direct transport services to competition and training venues from the opening of the Paralympic Village until it closes. Signage will be available at the entrance to the Transport Mall, showing the services that are operating, as well as the allocated bays and schedule for each sport/venue.
Additional signage is planned for each load zone, with the name of the service, route number, timetable, etc.
The infrastructure of the Transport Mall will be 100 percent accessible for those with a disability. This and other Games transport services will also include accessible vehicles. Accessibility requirements and infrastructure are currently being finalised.
Internal Village Transport Services
An internal shuttle service will be offered to the Paralympic Village residents and guest pass holders, from 20 August – 10 September 2024. Toyota APMs have a capacity of five seats (or four seats plus one wheelchair space). Shuttle stops will be fixed – they will serve the main points of interest in the Paralympic Village, including the Resident Centres. Shuttles will run every two minutes between 07:00-23:00 and every 10 minutes from 23:00-07:00.
For special events (such as peak arrivals/ departures and on Opening and Closing Ceremony days) the shuttle service may be adapted to facilitate Village operations.
